The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) community and beyond are mourning the loss of one of their own, Nicholas Kumi Obeng, a level 100 student who tragically took his own life due to heartbreak. Yesterday, his funeral was held in his hometown, Kwahu Obomeng, bringing closure to a chapter of his life.
According to reports, Nicholas's demise was linked to his girlfriend's infidelity, which he discovered at GUSSS Hall Two. The emotional distress from this incident reportedly led him to take his own life by hanging at the Guss Hostel on Wednesday, April 16. The police have confirmed that no foul play was suspected, and a suicide note was found
