The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is mourning the loss of one of its recent graduates, Christy, who tragically passed away earlier today.
Christy, a dedicated student from the Geography Department and a native of Japeikrom in the Bono Region, had been unable to attend the university's graduation ceremony due to health issues. Sadly, just weeks after the event, her classmates were shocked to receive the heartbreaking news of her untimely passing.
Her death has left the entire Geography Department and the wider university community in deep sorrow. Christy was remembered by her peers for her kindness and hard work, making her loss all the more painful.
As the university grapples with the tragedy, many have turned to social media to share condolences and cherished memories of Christy.
