Amoabeng, a student of Adventist SHS, has been arrested after accidentally shooting two of his classmates. According to reports from Gh Page, Amoabeng brought a gun to school, the purpose of which remains unclear.
During break time, a debate broke out among Amoabeng and his peers regarding whether the gun was functional or simply for show. In an attempt to prove that the gun worked, Amoabeng accidentally discharged it, injuring two of his classmates.
One of the victims, Penamang, suffered a severe gunshot wound to her forehead and was rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital due to the gravity of her injuries.
The Suame police have since apprehended Amoabeng and launched a thorough investigation into the incident.
