Residents and eyewitnesses of the recent fire outbreak at Kantamanto have shared their accounts of the incident for the first time.
In interviews, several eyewitnesses expressed concerns over the actions of the Fire Service during the emergency. They explained that upon noticing the fire, they immediately called for help from the Fire Service, hoping to prevent the fire from spreading further. However, they claimed that the situation worsened after the Fire Service's arrival.
According to the witnesses, they expected the Fire Service to use water to put out the fire, as is commonly done in fire emergencies. Instead, they alleged that the Fire Service used a substance that contributed to the escalation of the blaze, which led to significant property damage and loss.
The claims have raised questions about the response of the Fire Service, and authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine the cause of the escalation.
